After-Hours Care
Emergencies
If you have severe chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, heavy bleeding, fainting, or a newborn with a fever, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Urgent but not an emergency
Call our main number and choose After-Hours. You’ll reach our answering service, and an on-call clinician will return urgent calls—usually within 30 minutes. If you don’t hear back in 30 minutes, please call again.
When to call us after hours (examples)
- Worsening cough, fever, or flu-like symptoms
- Pain that’s new or getting worse
- Medication questions or a possible side effect
- Mild asthma flare or wheezing
- Urinary symptoms, a new rash, minor injury or sprain
When urgent care is a good choice
- Stitches for small cuts, simple fractures or X-rays
- Ear infections, pink eye, sore throat testing
- Weekend labs or quick in-person exam
Use an in-network urgent care. Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and medication list.
Refills and prescriptions
- We can offer short safety refills for essential daily medicines when appropriate.
- We do not start new controlled medications after hours.
- For routine refills, please use the Patient Portal; we’ll respond the next business day.

Results are posted in the Patient Portal. We review and message you on the next business day, unless a lab marks a result as urgent.
